Haitian Club Collects School Supplies for Haiti

In August 2021, Haiti was hit by another earthquake and hurricane. The country was never fully recovered from the devastating earthquake in 2010. Businesses, schools, and homes of the Haitian people destroyed. When NFA students found out that students didn’t have the tools necessary to attend school, they took action. The Haitian club and the Diocese of Norwich teamed up to make sure students in Haiti had the supplies they needed to learn with. After a month long school supply drive on campus, over 50 backpacks will be delivered to the students of Haiti.  NFA students are alway ready to help, and Leo Butler agrees,“NFA has a tradition of giving and caring and this is just another example.”
