NFA Red & White

LeeAnn Black, Editor in Chief

Last year was the start of what I hope will become my career for the rest of my life. Journalism has taught me patience, has shown me struggle, and has inspired me to truly grasp a story. I decided that I wanted to be a journalist when I did a story on the annual Toy Drive. I’m not sure if it was my pride, or my confidence with the package, but that night as I did all the interviewing and filming myself, I came to the conclusion that this is as real as it gets. What journalism means to me is to never stop pushing further. Now, as I approach graduation, I find myself pushing further and further with everything I accomplish and it is an incredible feeling.

Special Note:  LeeAnn is currently interning at the Norwich Bulletin.
